ByMicrosoft has released a new beta version of the Edge browser on Windows 11. This beta version has been named 130.0.2849.5. In this new beta version, you will get to see many new changes and features.

- For all Mac users using Microsoft Teams, now when someone sends you a link in Teams, it will open in Edge without you having to log in again.
- On the Teams settings page in Edge 130 beta, they are putting the most used settings front and center. This is also going to avoid scrolling and styling.
- This update also adds how you can pop out video calls in a separate window. So that if you want to start a new call, you will get a clean screen.
- Microsoft is going to end the use of “token binding” in this update of Edge 130.
- Edge is increasing WebGPU support through Edge 130. This will make it easier to run graphics websites.
- Edge is now also getting better at handling different types of web addresses. It is on teaching your browser to speak new computing languages.
- Edge browser has made it easier to navigate web pages without reaching for your mouse.
- Edge is using some fancy techniques with names like “Brotli” and “zstandard” to compress data.
- Edge is making some changes to the way it handles data storage in your browser to make it more privacy-conscious.
- Things like CSS nesting (this is how web designers style pages) and something called “box-decoration-break” (this is about how text boxes look) are being used to handle web elements.

Through this Edge is mainly adding support for some advanced features in Edge WebAssembly (which helps in running complex code in your browser) and WebGPU (which helps in turbo boosting graphics).
