Windows 11 24H2 Dev Channel Features and Improvements

One big change we got to see in Copilot is that you used to open it with a keyboard shortcut earlier. But now Copilot is a separate app pinned to the taskbar. This means that users can resize, move, and snap the Copilot window like a regular app.

Microsoft is removing the WIN + C shortcut for Copilot. On the key device, you can open Copilot by using WIN + (number position of Copilot on the taskbar).

Microsoft started seeing Windows 11 24H2 on the Insider Preview at the end of May. And along with this a new build 26227 is available to everyone, that too with new features. In the end, the new build was also released for Dev.

Microsoft has made a new improvement related to the Microsoft account. Now you will be able to manage the console of Xbox and computer on the Settings > Link Devices to Account page. This will only be visible on Windows 11 Home and Pro versions right now. However, it is necessary for the user to sign in with a Microsoft account.

Apart from this, Microsoft has added suggestions to the Phone Link app for Android users. In which the option of three relevant answers will be given at the time of messaging using the cloud-based system. Due to this sending messages will become even easier and faster.

Some problems have also been fixed in this update. In this case, the shortcut WIN + W of the widget board does not work properly. Also, a problem was seen during the update installation. A restart is required during installation. If any package has to be used.

So seeing this, it is expected that Microsoft will probably release the new version of Windows 11 24H2 for all the stable version Windows users before the end of the year!
