Hello UWinPC users, Microsoft has released a new update of Windows 11 Edge browser. The name of this new version is 129.0.2792.52. But this stable version has been released for all Windows users. Which has brought with it many new features, patches and fixes.

The beta version of this Microsoft Edge version of Windows 11 was released in August last month. But the stable version of this version was released for all Windows users on September 19th this month. We are also going to download this version further.

The new beta of Microsoft Edge has been released with 134 new features. Along with this, the security patch of version 133 has also been given.

First of all, Microsoft has organized some policy documents. They have clarified that some policies now support wildcards (*) in URL patterns. That is, it will be easier to restrict the permission of images and pop-ups on certain websites.

Microsoft has now told Mac users to require at least macOS 11 to run Edge. If you are using an older version of macOS, you will not receive any more Edge updates.

Through this Edge browser 129 update, Microsoft is going to end CryptoWallet support. Due to which you will no longer see this feature.

Edge is improving on “Declarative Shadow DOM” on this version of the browser. Which will help developers to do complex work.

Edge has also made changes to HTML content. Which will make it easier for developers to standardize easily.

On this version of Edge, a property called CSS “inset-area” is being renamed to “position-area”. Because both names will work for some time! But the old name will be removed in version 131.

The update includes patches for several vulnerabilities. However, the details have not been fully disclosed. But an interesting addition for IT administrators is the ability to enable a sandbox for printing. Which can improve security in some environments.
