ByMicrosoft has released a new October update for Windows 11 23H2. This new update has been named KB5044285. It brings with it many new features and patches.
Microsoft released this new update on 8 October for all Windows 11 users. Before this, the last update of Windows 11 KB5043145 was released on 26 September.
This new update also brings with it many announcements. In which it is going to say goodbye to 22H2. Till now all the updates of Windows 11 were appearing simultaneously on both 22H2 and 23H2. Let us further understand all these things one by one.
Windows 11 KB5044285 New Changes
- Microsoft has ended support for Windows 11 version 22H2 from October 8. In which Home or Pro users will not get the update. But now they will be able to use the Enterprise or Education version.
- Some bug fixes are going to be seen in some updates KB5044285. Which included problems like the PC suddenly restarting or the blue or green screen.
- Some patches will also be seen, and security will be improved even more.
- With the update of KB5044285, file-sharing features have been made easier than before. With this, you will be able to share taskbar search files as well.
- Improvements are going to be seen in the lock screen media. You will be able to control everything during the lock screen.
- Now you will not need to enter the PIN again and again for encrypted email. You will need to enter it only once.
- Now you will see a new sign-out button in the account manager. Now you will be able to sign out directly from the menu.
