- In Windows 11 23H2, some users reported that the Terminal hangs when resuming from sleep mode or unlocking their display. But now Microsoft has halted the Terminal 1.21 stable update.
- Microsoft has now improved system-wide text scaling in the Settings UI and they have also fixed the color contrast of the “Reset” button in the Settings page.
- In some other Terminal updates, the update fixes the issue with ConPTY (Console Pseudo Terminal) and ensures that responses longer than 4KB will not be corrupted. They have also eliminated a bug that was causing a crash when closing the split pane.
- This new change brings back the use of Alt+Keypad Plus, which has enabled a specific registry setting called EnableHexNumpad.
- Some search functionality updates also bring you quality-of-life improvements. The search box will no longer cover the search results in the top right. So some such changes have been included.
